Joannes van Besouw was born in 1741 in Goirle, Noord-Brabant, Nederland.[1]

He married Cornelia Roosen on March 1, 1767.[2] The marriage record states witnesses were Wouter van de Loo brother-in-law of the groom and Jan Dirk Roosen father of the bride. Date of banns: 14-02-1767
